The news of Salman Khan being part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next broke the internet a few weeks back. The duo will be collaborating after about 12 years after Saawariya and that in itself created a buzz. However, nothing about the female lead had been confirmed. But Alia Bhatt's recent visits to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office sparked rumours. Now it has been confirmed that she will be playing the female lead in the film.
Salman took to Twitter to break the news, he said, “It’s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to work with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey. #Inshallah #SLB @aliaa08 @bhansali_produc @SKFilmsOfficial.”
Salman and Alia have never worked together before this. The duo will be collaborating on a film for the first time ever. Naturally, their fans are excited. The film has been titled Inshallah and SLB will be directing it. Alia’s last release Gully Boy was a hit, while Salman’s Race 3 also fared decently at the box-office. It would be a delight to watch these two extremely different actors take the big screen by storm. Aren’t you excited?
